Together with its partners Adobe Systems and Elephant Seven, CONTENS will present its most current versions of efficient CMS and Social Network technology CONTENS & CONTENS relate at CeBIT 2009 (Hannover, 3. - 8. March 2009). In addition, Adobe Systems and CONTENS are holding a get-together for the ColdFusion community on the 6th March at CeBIT.
At the center of its CeBIT appearance this year (Hall3, Stand C65), the Munichbased software producer is exhibiting its new versions of the efficient Content Management platform CONTENS and the flexible Social Network technology CONTENS relate.
New functions increasing the efficiency
The most current version of CONTENS CMS contains a multitude of new functions and new improvements, which make the administration of content even more efficient. Included in the new functions are, for example, the provision of pre-published content, as well as the clipping of images. Content which has already been added to CONTENS but has not yet been published, can be prepared so that the person releasing a page no longer needs to log into CONTENS.
A further innovation is the clipping of images. One can select clips from images while retaining the image format and the page ratio. As many clips as wanted can be generated from the original image, which can be saved as derivatives of the original image. New image clippings can be created at any time and allocated to a content.
With CONTENS relate, the company is presenting the most current version of the fully integrable Social Network solution. With relate, in-house Enterprise 2.0 Networks, Customer communities and brand portals can be created quickly and adapted to individual requirements extremely flexibly. The administration backend can be fully integrated into the CONTENS CMS. This facilitates the administration of the users and allows the easy connection to cross functions such as workflow-managed registration processes.
