MÖBEL MARTIN extends cooperation with Concardis

(PresseBox) (Eschborn, )
  • Furniture retail company hands over stationary payment to Eschborn-based payment provider
  • POS complete offer and all-round service convinces
  • Efficient processes and favourable cost structure through digital document management
  • Maximum payment security thanks to secured direct debit
MÖBEL MARTIN concentrates its payment services and now relies entirely on the all-round service of Concardis for stationary payment. The Eschborn-based payment specialist prevailed against several competitors in an open tender. Concardis was able to convince with its comprehensive complete range of services and the speed of implementation: In just four weeks of the pre-Christmas period, Concardis implemented the complete migration of the systems and the replacement of all payment devices in the furniture retailer's eight furniture stores. Concardis is now responsible for acquiring and network operations, hardware and cash register integration, payment processing, risk and debtor management as well as the seamless connection of financial accounting for MÖBEL MARTIN.

"In mid-2019, we were looking for a payment provider that offers everything from a single source for the stationary business. Because the coordination effort was simply too high for us before – we only wanted one contact person who could ensure that all our processes and payment services interlocked seamlessly", explains Dr. Michael Karrenbauer, Managing Director at MÖBEL MARTIN. "We have already had positive experiences with Concardis in the past ten years in the field of acquiring. We are very pleased to be able to continue this cooperation in an expanded framework. We were convinced by Concardis' offer, technical know-how and understanding of service".

Interlocking of all processes for optimal customer service
"Holistic support is so important in the payment sector because business, sales and payment processes can hardly be separated from each other nowadays. Seamless data flow and the intelligent analysis and processing of payment data are essential for retailers today in order to be able to offer their customers individually tailored services – and this is increasingly crucial to their business," says Robert Hoffmann, CEO of Concardis.

With digital document management, Concardis will continue to ensure efficiency and a favorable cost structure in the future thanks to seamless and automated processes. In the process, the merchant receipts are directly digitally processed and stored at the checkout. The scope of services for MÖBEL MARTIN also includes secured direct debit. This saves printing, manual archiving and storage of the audit-relevant evidence. The secured direct debit offers maximum payment security at an optimal price-performance ratio: In the event of reclaims with the electronic direct debit, where customers pay their bills with debit card and signature, Concardis assumes the default risk.
