COHERENT Inc at EuroBlech 2014 - Product Highlights

(PresseBox) (Dieburg, )
From October 21 - 25, 2014, EuroBlech in Hanover, Germany, will be the place to learn about the latest technologies for sheet metal working.

COHERENT Inc offers the broadest available selection of products for materials processing, including CO2, high power diode, solid-state, ultrafast and fiber lasers, for everything from precision microprocessing up to high speed metal cladding. Visit our booth in Hall 15, Stand F37, to learn which Coherent laser solution is right for your application.

HighLight 10,000D

The HighLight 10,000D is a direct-diode laser system that outputs 10 kW (at 975 nm). This high power translates into increased throughput for applications in metal cladding and heat treating. The HighLight 10,000D is also a flexible solution, which can be configured to deliver a wide variety of interchangeable beam shapes (with widths from 1 mm to 12 mm, and lengths from 6 mm to 36 mm) to optimally match specific processing requirements. When combined with Coherent's pressurized or gravity feed powder nozzles and systems, this increased power level enables higher deposition rate cladding (>20 lb/h), or the use of larger spot sizes for heat treating.

HighLight 1000FL

The HighLight 1000FL is an OEM fiber laser that delivers 1 kW of CW output at 1 µm. The laser's unique modular concept is specifically designed to allow systems integrators the value of module-level support for their end users. In particular the integrated control board enables greater machine design flexibility, accelerates the time to first integration, and decreases overall system complexity. This is achieved, in part, because the HighLight 1000FL utilizes Coherent semiconductor laser bars in a single pump aggregation module without the complexity and service issues of splices or gratings. Coherent's uniquely simple laser architecture is less susceptible to optical feedback and is modular in design to facilitate future serviceability. The HighLight 1000FL is primarily targeted at cutting and welding a variety of metals, such as mild and stainless steels, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, and aluminum-magnesium.

META 10C

The META 10C represents a unique combination of compact size and high laser output power. With its integrated 1.000W laser it cuts metals up to 6mm thickness in a working area of 1,25m x 1,25m. The high pressure resistant cutting head allows for assist gas pressure up to 20bar. With its contact free height sensor it provides consistent high quality cutting results. Built on a sturdy steel frame and equipped with optical linear scales the META 10C guarantees for highest precision. Due to its compact size, the META 10C finds space even in the smallest workshop. It is easy to operate and provides highest efficiency - from prototyping to serial production.
