Über die Pläne des ersten Kernkraftwerkbaus in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten berichtet HalloAbuDhabi kürzlich. In Katar plant man zudem nun den Bau eines Solarkraftwerks. Angeblich soll hier ein gigantisches Solarkraftwerk im Wert von rund 1 Milliarde Dollar entstehen.

Einen ausgefeilten Plan gibt es bislang noch nicht, konkrete Angaben werden allerdings nicht mehr allzu lange auf sich warten lassen. Ob die deutsche Solarbranche im Pool der Bewerber mithalten kann, wird sich zeigen.
