Dubai: Die "Dubai Desert Classics" rufen!

Ende Januar wird die Golfwelt nach Dubai schauen. Vom 26. Januar bis 1. Februar finden im weltbekannten Emirates Golf Club die sog. "Dubai Desert Classics" statt.

Dieses Jahr feiert das Happening Jubiläum: Schon zum 20. Mal wird das Who is Who der Golfszene die Schläger schwingen. 2008 gewann Tiger Woods das Turnier, 2007 konnte Henrik Stenson den Sieg für sich verbuchen.

Der Gewinner der diesjährigen "Dubai Desert Classics" kann sich freuen: Als Siegprämie winken rund 1,66 Millionen US-Dollar.
