World Market Leader Dassault Systèmes presents PLM Solutions for Composites at the 5th CFK-Valley Stade Convention 2011

07-08 June 2011, Stade (Germany)

(PresseBox) (Stade, )
As the market leader for 3D and Product Lifecycle Management Solutions (PLM), Dassault Systèmes Deutschland GmbH is taking advantage of the CFK-Valley Stade Convention for the 4th time as one of the most important communication and presentation platforms in the target field of carbon fiber composite lightweight construction.

“The CFK Valley Stade Convention offers a suitable platform for exchanges with customers as well as with experts and opinion leaders in order for us to continuously further develop our solutions and to meet market demands. We will be attending the Convention for the 4th time and by no means want to miss this top-class event,” says Markus Meir, PLM Consultant, Dassault Systèmes.

Dassault Systèmes is the market leader of 3D and Product Lifecycle Management solutions (PLM) and has more than 115,000 customers in 80 countries. Since 1981 Dassault Systèmes has been a precursor in the 3D software market and develops PLM applications and services that support product development processes in different locations. PLM solutions from Dassault Systèmes provide a three dimensional view of the entire product life cycle that extends from the first concept to the finished product. Dassault Systèmes’ portfolio consists of CATIA for the design of virtual products – SolidWorks for Mechanical 3D Design – DELMIA for the virtual production – SIMULIA for virtual tests and ENOVIA as global, networked lifecycle management solutions and 3DVIA for real-life, 3D online experiences.

“In the computation and design process the simulation and design must be coordinated with each other and the data must be synchronized in the bidirectional process. At Dassault Systèmes we successfully support the complete sequence within this process with our software solutions and, in addition, seamlessly integrate the production,” says Meir and summarizes Dassault’s solutions for composites as follows: “As ultralight, high-strength and durable materials, composites are the ideal solution for the manufacture of lightweight composites with excellent properties. However, construction and series production of modern composite parts that are ready for production are very complex and costly. In conventional methods the construction, analysis and manufacture of composite parts must be carried out in sequential, time-consuming and isolated processes that also require a great deal of manual intervention. Leading aircraft manufacturers, Formula-1 racing teams, wind turbine manufacturers and shipyards already count on Dassault Systèmes’ comprehensive portfolio of process-oriented solutions (DS) for the construction, simulation and manufacture of composite structures on a single virtual platform.” Markus Meir and the Dasssault Systemes Deutschland GmbH team of experts are available during the CFK-Valley Stade Convention for personal contact (Area B, Booth No. 12).

In addition to Dassault Systèmes Deutschland GmbH, Toho Tenax, M. Torres, Airbus Operations, Airtech Europe, Fraunhofer IFAM and other leading experts, developers and users in the target field of CFRP will be presenting their services and product portfolios.
