Die VESTOLIT GmbH & Co. KG aus Marl setzt auf unternehmensweites Dokumentenmanagement auf Basis der Informationsplattform nscale 7vecto. Der international agierende PVC-Hersteller VESTOLIT betreibt die größten voll integrierten PVC-Produktionsanlagen in Europa mit einer Kapazität von 400.000 t pro Jahr – und ist Marktführer als Rohstofflieferant für PVC-Fensterprofile, sowie für Pasten-PVC zur Herstellung von Bodenbelägen, Planenstoffen und Kfz-Unterbodenschutz.

Auf der Suche nach einem innovativen Dokumentenmanagement-System konnte sich die VESTOLIT GmbH & Co. KG auf dem Ceyoniq Campus 2010 in Düsseldorf erste Einblicke in das durchgängige nscale-Lösungsportfolio verschaffen. Die zielgenaue Beratung durch die advice IT Consulting GmbH – das Beratungshaus für DMS, Prozessoptimierung und Archivierung und langjähriger Partner der Ceyoniq Technology – sowie der positive Eindruck im Live-Einsatz bei einem Referenzkunden überzeugte die VESTOLIT GmbH & Co. KG von der Leistungsfähigkeit der Informationsplattform nscale.

Wichtigste Einsatzbereiche sind zunächst die intelligente Ablage von Dokumenten unter SAP und die rechtssichere Archivierung von E-Mails aus GroupWise. Rund 450 Mitarbeiter am Unternehmenssitz Marl werden damit zukünftig Zugriff auf nscale haben. Neben nscale for SAP und nscale for GroupWise ist als nächster Schritt der Aufbau einer nscale Projektakte für die technischen Dokumente der VESOLIT fest eingeplant.
