Die CETECOM bietet die notwendigen Test- und Zertifizierungsdienstleistungen gemäß der RED für Hersteller und Inverkehrbringer von DVB-T2, TV- und Rundfunkempfängern an und unterstützt bei entsprechender Zertifizierung

Seit dem 13. Juni 2016 ersetzt die Richtlinie 2014/53/EU (Radio Equipment Directive (RED)) die bisherige R&TTE Richtlinie 1999/5/EG - während eines Übergangszeitraums bis zum 12. Juni 2017 sind noch beide Richtlinien anwendbar.

Die RED ist generell für die Anwendung auf Funkanlagen (Sender und/oder Empfänger) konzipiert. Neu hinzugekommen sind allerdings Regularien für Rundfunkempfänger, sowie sämtliche Geräte, die einen Funksender bzw. -empfänger implementiert haben. Insbesondere für Rundfunkempfänger ist dies eine gravierende Neuerung. Geräte wie Radios, TV-Empfänger oder DVB-T-Empfänger mussten bisher lediglich nach die EMV-Richtlinie getestet werden.

Ab dem 13.06.2017 muss für diese Produkte auch die Konformität nach der Radio Equipment Directive erklärt werden. Andernfalls ist eine Inverkehrbringung der Geräte innerhalb der EU ausgeschlossen.

Die CETECOM bietet die notwendigen Test- und Zertifizierungsdienstleistungen für Hersteller von Rundfunkempfängern aus einer Hand an und unterstützt bei entsprechender Zertifizierung nach den Standards
  •  ETSI EN 303 340 (Terrestrische TV Broadcast Receiver, Fernseher, DVB-T2 Settopboxen)
  •  ETSI EN 303 345 (Broadcast Sound Receiver, AM/FM/DAB Radios)
