Hansgrohe manages product and marketing content with CELUM & SAP Hybris

International Marketing with Upper Austrian Software

Linz, (PresseBox) - Hansgrohe operates more than 40 websites worldwide, with over 12,000 distinct bathroom fittings and shower items. Each item is presented with an assortment of different digital files, ranging from product and marketing images to service manuals and installation videos. Hansgrohe was looking for a unified Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management solution in order to easily and efficiently manage, distribute and deliver their product information, content, and data to the right place. Ultimately they found this solution in the integration of CELUM and SAP Hybris. This solution significantly reduced Hansgrohe’s manual effort as well as strengthening their unified market appearance around the globe.

“We manage several hundred-thousands of files – images, graphics, product data sheets – in more than 26 languages. Our goal was to keep a manageable overview and to ensure that the correct assets are available at the right locations in our print and digital channels. At the same time, we wanted to reduce the work for our marketing team and to combine the product information with the marketing assets. We had to bring together the product data that we manage on SAP Hybris and the product media that we have been managing via CELUM since 2010 already with the non-product-related media. We managed to do that with the present solution, so that an extremely efficient and effective marketing tool is available to us today,” explains Stefan Vollmer, Technical Consultant, Team Digital Media  at Hansgrohe.

Thanks to their new unified solution, the company from the Black Forest can now globally manage, distribute, and deliver current information, assets, price lists, digital content, and much more, with little manual effort.

Linking product data and product media

With the assistance of ARITHNEA, a CELUM partner, a data structure specially tailored to fit Hansgrohe’s needs is being developed and implemented in CELUM. The data that used to be managed in SAP Hybris will now be imported into the CELUM Digital Asset Management software via an interface developed by ARITHNEA. The content will continue to be delivered through Hansgrohe’s various channels with SAP Hybris; however, all existing and future assets will be created and managed in CELUM. Among other things, the 40 websites and Hansgrohe intranet will be supplied with assets and materials through the new, integrated solution.

“Hansgrohe has been a CELUM customer since 2010 already. However, what makes the solution so special is the now seamless integration into SAP Hybris, through which Hansgrohe can offer a comprehensive marketing work flow. We are really glad that we were able to implement this integration project with our long-term partner ARITHNEA,” explains Michael Sahlender, Managing Director CELUM Germany.
