Since the “Market Performance Wheel” was brought into existence, it has developed into a significant institution for evaluating the performance of a company. In this context, it analyzes the performance and execution of a company in four areas: “Technology”, “Ability to execute” (capability of implementing projects), “Market penetration” and “Future proof”. The individual potential analysis further divides these into four central sub-categories. Based on these values, an informative mid-value is then generated. Once combined together, these mid-values ultimately reveal the company’s total performance. In this event, CELUM once more defended its top position with a total score of 82 from 100 possible points. In 2016, CELUM was again able to achieve the best grades in all four performance fields and completely impress in the categories “Technology” and “Market penetration”. In the area of “Customer references”, CELUM was named a “Leader”. This means, that no other vendor achieved the same number of points in this category.
Thomas Lucas-Nülle, Chief Analyst at LNC, on the CELUM evaluation: “In summary, the solution is therefore among the technological vanguard. The extremely convincing scores for targets/references both in terms of the number of installations and volume of customers and in the scores from the concrete customer reference interviews – result in CELUM once again being awarding the rank of a leader here and it therefore spearheads its market segment.”
In the essential analysis field “MAM- function modules” of the “Technology” category, CELUM also was repeatedly distinguished as the leading system and can therefore call itself “Leader” in this segment as well. The “Technology” category evaluates the data model of the solution from the initial take-up to the data maintenance up to the asset relationships. That is why it has particular importance in the evaluation of the MAM system.
In the areas of “Ability to execute” and “Future proof”, CELUM managed to achieve above-average marks as it did the previous year. In the evaluation field “Software development”, the general IT-setup was reviewed, which shines a light on the IT platforms, the developmental environments and the configuration management. Likewise, CELUM also achieved the top mark in the sub-category “Visionary completeness” in the performance area “Future proof”.
“Again this evaluation made clear, that we consistently pursue peak quality and performance in our core business area MAM/DAM and how this knowledge becomes apparent in the product portfolio and in the company´s mission: to continue to set standards in matters of innovative and modern user-access to marketing technologies”, concludes Rainer Sommer, Head of Global Marketing at CELUM.
