Lyles will manage the US marketing and sales initiatives for febit s genomics technology products and services. These initiatives will include the company s launch of the Geniom® RT Analyzer, a fully automated instrument for the hybridization, washing, staining and scanning of microarrays, in the second quarter of this year.

Lyles has extensive sales and marketing experience in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining febit, she was director of sales with Sigma-Aldrich Corp. s research biotechnology business unit, where she successfully grew key businesses, built the sales team and created sales processes. Before this, Lyles was vice president of sales and marketing with Genospectra Inc. Earlier in her career, she was a technology manager for high-throughput screening (HTS) systems with PerkinElmer Inc., and product manager for the BioChip Array and sales development manager for HTS assay platforms with Packard Biosciences Co.

Lyles earned her Ph.D. in biochemistry at Baylor College of Medicine and completed post-doctoral training at Emory University. She holds a B.S. in biology and a B.S. in chemistry from the University of New Orleans.
