Under the provocative slogan ‘Bellissima vs Flexo’, on Stand D of the UV Days event, the familyowned business will be demonstrating to the specialist trade audience the opportunities that the new technology opens up for customers. “This raster technology, which is exclusively available from coe, overcomes the typical characteristics of flexographic printing like rosettes, so that moiré-free images are now possible. Using Bellissima, multicoloured printing of small font sizes is also now realisable,” explains coe business development manager Michael Halfar. The highly specialised prepress company most recently proved this with development of the ‘coe cam’ – a camera-based flexo plate recognition system.
