From toolmaker to managing director
With Stephan Pittner, CLOOS gains a managing director who has known the company very well for more than 20 years. The long-time authorised signatory has comprehensive know-how and extensive experience in the areas of product development and project management. After his training as a technical draughtsman and toolmaker, Pittner worked in product development and equipment design. In addition, he completed further training as a mechanical engineer. In 2000, he joined CLOOS, where he initially contributed his expertise in project management and technical sales. This was followed by positions as division manager for welding cells and robot systems as well as head of the engineering and production automation division. Most recently, as director of Automation, Pittner was responsible for the areas of development, project management, construction, documentation, assembly and commissioning. He also has technical responsibility for the largest CLOOS subsidiaries in the USA and China.

Managing Director Sieghard Thomas, who has led the traditional company with headquarters in Haiger since 2016, remains responsible for all other areas as CEO. "I am very pleased to have such an experienced and technically skilled colleague in Stephan Pittner who will support me as CEO in my tasks in the future," explains Sieghard Thomas.
