Composites United e.V.

Carbon Composites e.V. (CCeV) ist ein Verband von Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen. CCeV vernetzt Forschung und Wirtschaft im Süden des deutschsprachigen Raums (Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz). Sitz des Vereins ist Augsburg.

CCeV versteht sich als Kompetenznetzwerk zur Förderung der Anwendung von Faserverbundtechnologien. Die Aktivitäten von CCeV sind auf die Produktgruppe "Marktfähige Hochleistungs-Faserverbundstrukturen" ausgerichtet. Der Fokus liegt auf Faserverbundstrukturen mit Kunststoffmatrices, wie sie aus vielen Anwendungen auch einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit bekannt sind, sowie auf Faserverbundstrukturen mit Keramikmatrices mit ihren höheren Temperatur- und Verschleißbeständigkeiten.
