Composites-Event 2018 mit verändertem Format

Die internationale Fachmesse für Faserverbundmaterialien, Leichtbau und Carbon: Experience Composites – powered by Jec Group, verzeichnete im Einstiegsjahr 2016 einen vielversprechenden Start. Durch veränderte Rahmenbedingungen haben sich die Veranstalter für die Zweitauflage zu einem neuen Format mit Schwerpunkt auf den Kongressteil entschieden. Das Symposium Composites findet am 19. und 20. September 2018 an der Messe Augsburg statt. Organisiert wird diese Veranstaltung von der Messe Augsburg und dem Carbon Composites e.V. (CCeV).

Das künftige Symposium Composites 2018 ist als Fachtagung für Entscheider und Interessierte aus den Schlüsselanwendungsbranchen von Faserverbundwerkstoffen sowie wichtigen Querschnittsthemen konzipiert. Das Event soll nützliches Wissen und wertvolle Kontakte für Experten und Noch-Nicht-Anwender entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette vermitteln. Geplant sind dafür halbstündige Vorträge sowie Workshops, ein Get-together-Abend sowie Unternehmensbesichtigungen und eine Begleitausstellung. Zur Eröffnung vergibt der Carbon Composites e.V. seinen jährlichen Studienpreis. Der Call-for-Paper wird in wenigen Tagen eröffnet.

Composites United e.V.

2007 in Augsburg gegründet, vereint das Kompetenznetzwerk Carbon Composites e.V. (CCeV) Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. Zu den Mitgliedern von CCeV gehören Forschungseinrichtungen wie das DLR und die Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft mit verschiedenen Instituten, die Universität Augsburg und diverse Hochschulen, Großunternehmen aus nahezu allen Branchen, kleine und mittlere Unternehmen.

Der CCeV versteht sich als Kompetenznetzwerk zur Förderung der Anwendung von Faserverbundtechnologien. Die Aktivitäten des CCeV sind auf die Produktgruppe "Marktfähige Hochleistungs-Faserverbundstrukturen" ausgerichtet. Der Fokus liegt auf Faserverbundstrukturen mit Kunststoffmatrices, wie sie aus vielen Anwendungen auch einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit bekannt sind, sowie auf Faserverbundstrukturen mit Keramikmatrices mit ihren höheren Temperatur- und Verschleißbeständigkeiten.
