Nach Einführung der LED High Brightness Backlight- Lösungen für seine industrietauglichen Displays zieht Canvys nun mit seinen Desktop- LCDs nach. Diese sind für Projekte ab sofort in den Größen 12.1" und 15" mit LEDBacklight- Technologie erhältlich.

LED Panels zeichnen sich aus durch hohe Kontrastwerte, weite Blickwinkel, lange Lebensdauer und hohe Helligkeiten. Dies bedeutet z.B für 12.1" im Vergleich zu standardmäßig eingesetzten CCFL-Panel ein Kontrastverhältnis von 700:1 (statt 600:1), die Helligkeit steigt auf 450 nits (statt 400 nits) und ein deutlich verbesserter Blickwinkel (160°/140° statt 140°/110°).

Beim 15"-Panel steigt die Helligkeit sogar um 100 nits auf 350 nits, der Blickwinkel verbessert sich ebenfalls auf 160°/140° (h/v) (statt 140°/125°).

Bei größeren Stückzahlen bietet Canyvs die Integration von LED Panels für alle seine 12" und 15" LCDs an.
