“Each year these events get better and better,” said Christer Lorichs from decade-long Canto partner Gothia (Sweden). “From seeing what's coming in Cumulus, to seeing what's coming in marketing, Canto is more focused now than ever.”
Opening night, the partners joined Canto employees for dinner at Berlin's Reichstag, an event that was kept a secret until the last minute. Participants had been notified they would be required to present passports and pass through a security screening for the event.
“One would have thought they were flying us somewhere,” explained Glenn Lawrence from Australia’s Aimtec. “But this was even better! My son made me promise I would visit the Reichstag grounds and take photos for him while I was in Berlin, but then, there I was—right inside!”
For Canto CTO, Thomas Schleu, the week offered an opportunity to see what the partner community had done with his team’s technology.
“The add-on and integration products our partners are developing today take Cumulus places we could never have imagined when we first developed the product nearly 20 years ago. It's always great for those of us in Canto Engineering to be able to spend face time with those on the other side of our APIs.”
Also shown was a major new Canto technology the company has not publicly announced.
