camLine GmbH releases XperiDesk 5.1

Connecting Manufacturing with Technology Development

(PresseBox) (Petershausen, )
After having successfully acquired XperiDesk IP from Process Relations two months ago, camLine is proud to release now XperiDesk 5.1 version. In contrast to the previous versioning scheme, the new release follows the camLine versioning structure and is therefore labeled 5.1. The 5.1 release incorporates all capabilities of the previous Process Relations version 2013.1 with several new extensions and improvements. Besides the switch to the new application server version JBOSS 7.2, one major extension is the availability of deployments for the Oracle database version 11 onwards. Next to these more infrastructure oriented enhancements, the software received several improvements in the importing modules. In addition to the possibility to have fixed cells in the MS Excel importing, the importing speed has been improved, significantly. Furthermore, the management, lifecycle, and usage of calculation models have been improved. The interfacing to external calculation tools has become more versatile and flexible. Additionally, a new interface to camLine's Cornerstone has been implemented to facilitate easy export and data analysis from every table within XperiDesk.

For questions or a more detailed introduction into these improvements,
please contact Dirk Ortloff.
