Wie seine Vorgängermodelle sind die neuen Hi-Flo II XL-Filter für ganz unterschiedliche Einsatzfelder geeignet: Von der regulären Gebäudelüftung über spezifischen Industrieanwendungen bis hin zu Vorfilterstufen für Reinraumansprüche. Hier sorgen ihre geringe Anfangsdruckdifferenz und die dann nur sehr flach ansteigende Druckverlustkurve für kontinuierliche Energieverbräuche bei einem ebenso konstanten Mindestwirkungsgrad von 54 Prozent – statt der für die Erreichung der Filterklasse F7 mindestens erforderlichen 35 Prozent.
Die neue Serie umfasst vier Modelle mit konisch geformten Filtertaschen unterschiedlicher Länge. Diese werden von einem druckgegossenen, sehr stabilen sowie aerodynamisch gestaltet Stirnrahmen gehalten, der als Leichtgewicht großen Komfort beim Filtereinbau oder -wechsel bietet.
Da der Energieverbrauch rund 80 Prozent der gesamten Betriebskosten einer Lüftungsanlage ausmacht, kann die Hi-Flo II XL-Serie einen entsprechenden Löwenanteil dazu beitragen, Geld einzusparen. Auch in punkto Umweltfreundlichkeit und Entsorgungskosten hat Camfil mitgedacht: Denn sowohl das Filtermedium als auch der Rahmen aus Polysterol sind voll veraschbar.
