Der Internetauftritt des Bundesverbandes Medizintechnologie, BVMed, unter www.bvmed.de verzeichneten im Jahr 2005 insgesamt über 16,5 Millionen Hits. Das sind über 80 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr. Insgesamt kamen 630.000 einzelne Besucher auf die Webseiten des Verbandes.

Hinzu kommen weitere, getrennt erfasste Internetauftritte wie der neue TV-Service Medizintechnologie unter www.tv-service.bvmed.de, der Filmmaterial zu innovativen Medizintechnologien bietet.

Die durchschnittliche Besuchsdauer auf den über 5.000 einzelnen Internetseiten des BVMed betrug knapp 5 Minuten. Jeder Besucher rief im Durchschnitt zwölf verschiedene Unterseiten auf, was für die Qualität und Tiefe der BVMed-Internetseiten spricht.
