BITMi unterstützt Petition zur Ernennung eines Digitalministers

Bereits in seinem Positionspapier Digitaler Mittelstand 2020 fordert der Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand e.V. (BITMi) ein eigenständiges Digitalministerium. Das Ende der Koalitionsgespräche zwischen CDU/CSU und SPD zeigt jedoch, dass die Entscheidungskompetenz zur Digitalkompetenz auch weiterhin auf diverse Ministerien verteilt bleiben soll, da offensichtlich weder ein Digitalministerium noch ein Digital-Staatsminister im Kanzleramt geplant sind.

“Sofern die Ressortverteilung weiterhin eine wirksame zentrale Koordination der Digitalpolitik ignoriert, werden wir im internationalen Vergleich bei der Digitalisierung weiter zurückfallen. Deutschland verschläft so seine Zukunft“, befürchtet BITMi-Präsident Dr. Oliver Grün. Daher unterstützt der BITMi die heute vom Bundesverband Deutsche Startups e.V. gestartete Petition, die die Ernennung eines Digitalministers fordert.
