Russia to host FIFA World Cup 2018 – BTD is proud of their contribution and congratulates Russia on a successful campaign!

On 2nd of December 2010, FIFA announced Russia to be host of the World Cup 2018.

The Russian Bid prevailed against strong Bids from England and the combined Bids
from Spain and Portugal and Belgium and the Netherlands. We cordially congratulate
the Russian Football Association to their huge success.
BTD is proud to be given the opportunity to deliver the technical specifications to all
Russian World Cup venues and thus contribute to the success of the Russian Bid. This
contribution was an exciting challenge for BTD. For the first time ever, BTD delivered
such a comprehensive input to the bidding documents of a mega event. Following this
success, BTD will look to offer their services to prepare official bidding documents
again in the future.
BTD would once again, like to thank the Russian Football Association and its partners
for their trust.
We are looking forward to the World Cup 2018 in Russia with great enthusiasm.
