Together with partners like castLabs, GMIT, Newtec Technologies and Viaccess, bmcoforum will present the latest mobile broadcast solutions and developments. The focus is on module and platform technologies. Among others, castLabs demonstrates its OMA BCAST based head-end, GMIT shows a switch improving redundancy of transport and video streams, and Newtec Technologies provides a content distribution solution via satellite in SFN/MSN mode for mobile TV.
At the MWC 2009, the bmcoforum will publish updates and extensions of their formerly well accepted studies on bearer technologies, link budgets and business model implementations in various countries.
The 'Broadcast Mobile Convergence Forum' (bmcoforum), the worldwide leading industry association, was founded to shape an open global market environment for mobile broadcast services. About 100 members of the bmcoforum join forces to identify relevant content and services, support technology standardization and implementation, as well as lobby for spectrum and suitable regulation framework to lay the basis and move these services further in the future.
bmcoforum is more than happy to meet up with you at the MWC to outline our mission as well as trends and future developments in the market, and to introduce the work of the members within the organizations initiatives and their contributions to drive the market for mobile TV.
