Core of all solutions is that mobile devices are centrally connected and personalized by mobile apps for safer, more efficient and sophisticated communication.
Based on this know-how BPS International went live in September 2012 with an app as concept idea: the KINDERPHONE app addresses families with children who use smartphones and tablets for both communications as well as for media access / digital content access.

Due to the growing importance of smartphones and tablets with ever-younger users an ever greater need grows continuously for kid's secure media access, for transparent device use to avoid high communication and data costs and for a cautious possible approach guiding children to a responsible device usage.
KINDERPHONE consists of a mobile app which 'Kindermode' enables parents to personalize device functions, available apps and contacts of an Android smartphone or tablet, depending on the age and abilities of children. The 'Kindermode' can run as permanent operation system or for selective use if parents give their smartphone to kids from time to time.
The web system of www.kinderphone.com joins any mobile devices of a family and can be used as mobile device and family communication management. Embedded features such as battery indicator and real-time maps help to reduce costs for the family communication and to ensure greater security for communications between parents and kids.
"The KINDERPHONE app published in the Google Play Store in September 2013 is a framework to boldly show what is basically possible for parents, kids and families in general. This idea of a customizable 'grow-with-your-kid' mobile device for kid's communication, collaboration and media use we now like to discuss with parents to build a solid service", says Tobias Schmidt from BPS International.
By today the KINDERPHONE Android app reached 3,800 downloads and feedback of users is positive so the general parental need for such kid safety and device management / device control service could be called proven. BPS International now seeks direct talks with parents who use the app in an open dialogue with the Munich developers and report on the pros and cons as well as missing or superfluous functions.
BPS International calls this 'proof-of-concept' an open development approach where the service is provided free-for-lifetime for those families who download and register for KINDERPHONE until end of August 2013.
The intention of BPS International is to get into direct, personal communication with families. The rating / voting mechanism of Google Play Store does not provide this deep collaboration to users, means BPS International.
