Rising Oil Price endangers 97 percent of all Transport Companies

Politicians do not react – Bornemann AG does

(PresseBox) (Goslar, )
.
- Experts declare third oil crisis
- transport business survival is in danger
- Bornemann’s InFLEET provides improvement in efficiency

While experts are ready to proclaim the third world-wide oil crisis, politicians deny their responsibility and publish only verbal phrases. They ignore the fact that the global economy is impacted by rising oil prices - comparable with the situation in the seventies and eighties of the last century. Local transport companies have already reached their economic limits and most of them will not survive another price increase. The additional burden for the German transport business has already reached the margin of 12.000 € per truck per year. The planned increase of toll for the trucks will result in an additional average burden of 9.500 €. Creditreform (a company providing credit management services) estimates therefore the economic breakdown of around 5600 companies in the transport and logistics business. The telematics sector - like Bornemann AG - is able to compensate the rising oil costs by providing efficient telematics solutions. The application of Bornemanns InFLEET solution will reduce the efforts for fuel up to 15% through route optimization and efficient workforce management.

The majority (97%) of transport companies are small and medium enterprises with less than 50 employees. The German federal association of transport business (BVI) recently reminded the politicians that these companies ensure the daily supply of all the citizens and maintain all the production and delivery chains. And for even these companies the government denies any serious relief.

Optimum fleet management with a maximum of efficiency
Only the telematics sector is able to provide really efficient solutions to the relief of small and medium enterprises of the transport business. Bornemann AG, a leading telematics company in the German speaking part of Europe, offers InFLEET Office. This software is a powerful and competitive solution which enables the companies to manage and optimize their daily business. While politics is only postulating empty phrases, Bornemann AG increases all efforts to enhance the solution in order to reach a maximum of savings in the daily transport business.

Bornemann's InFLEET - a lightweight and user friendly telematics solution for fleet management and mobile workforces - is easy to integrate into the existing IT landscape of small and medium enterprises, like e.g. Office Outlook®.

This solution is independent of other vendors and is easy to adapt - it reduces the efforts for the daily internal and external business workflows to a minimum.
InFLEET manages, navigates, communicates and ensures the security of the mobile workforces. The application of InFLEET will lead to a significant reduction of costs, time and resources.

A recent study of NavTeq Research summarizes the potential of the application of telematics solutions and fleet management in very precise figures of savings:

- 40 % less communication costs
- 11 % less km to drive
- 18% less driving time
- 15% less fuel consumption
- 10% increase of capacity
