Lifting technology at the bauma 2016
Böcker puts current crane models and superlifts into the focus of attention
Böcker Maschinenwerke will be presenting its range of crane and lifting technology over an area of 800 square metres: Rack and pinion hoists and industrial lifts, mini cranes, trailer- and truck-mounted cranes, Angled construction lifts and furniture elevators, construction winches as well as mobile personnel and material lifts. New truck-mounted cranes are also among the exhibits – such as the compact AK 37/4000 in the truck class up to 7.49 tons. The crane is particularly powerful with a maximum extension length of 37 metres and a load capacity of up to 4,000 kilograms. Amongst other features, this is enabled by its hybrid mast profile made of steel and aluminium. This ensures that a range of 27 metres can be achieved, even with a load of 250 kilograms. When it comes to operation, Böcker relies on a modern PLC control unit, which also comprises an automatic levelling function of the supports when the crane is set up. All functions are operated via a new remote control unit with a full-colour display, in which up to four wireless cameras can be integrated for optimum construction site surveillance. The new AK 46/6000 presents itself as a powerful aluminium crane – mounted on an 18 or 26 ton truck. Its auxiliary drive (PTO) features lower consumption values than separate auxiliary units – while still enabling precise operation with load capacities up to 6,000 kilograms. The AK 46/6000 – which is of particularly compact design – not only clearly exceeds the maximum load capacity of its predecessor models, but also their working range: Hence, it reaches heights of up to 46 metres; with a load capacity of 250 kilograms a range of 39.3 metres – and even with 1,000 kilograms the range is still up to 26 metres. Due to their structure, both the AK 37/4000 and the AK 46/6000 have an extremely low swivelling radius, such that applications under difficult conditions such as single-sided support and use without interrupting the traffic flow are possible without any problems.
New trailer-mounted cranes: Top of the class and all-rounder
As another trade fair highlight, Böcker is also presenting the new trailer-mounted cranes AHK 30/1500 KS and AHK 36/2400. The class leader AHK 36/2400, with an extension length of 36 metres, is designed for load capacities of up to 2,400 kilograms. As an allrounder for the most various construction site applications, the AHK 30/1500 KS reaches a load capacity of up to 1,500 kilograms and a maximum extension length of 30 metres. With a load of 250 kilograms, it is still capable of achieving a lateral range of 21 metres. Excellent driving and manoeuvring properties are also decisive for the practical suitability of the trailer-mounted cranes. This is guaranteed by an innovative tandem chassis, which also ensures optimum floor load distribution. Thanks to the modern folding swivel support technology, they can be set up in an equally flexible and space-saving fashion. Ground unevenness up to 50 centimetres and obstacles pose no problems whatsoever.
The support can be comfortably operated using the remote control with its twin display, and is also equipped with an automatic self-levelling function. Both the AHK 36/2400 as well as the AHK 30/1500 KS are equipped with a swivel drawbar to reduce the overall length during manoeuvring or setting up. The standard manoeuvring drive with a climbing capacity of up to 25 percent, rounds off the package.
The 36/2400 is also available with a crawler chassis for particularly rough terrain. As the RK 36/2400, it also has the same performance data as the trailer-mounted crane model. The compact crawler chassis however, guarantees particularly reliable traction and grip, as well as even distribution of pressure on any ground. This even enables working with loads of up to 2,400 kilograms even on gravel, sand or wet grass areas without any problems.
Superlifts: Compact model and solution for large-scale building sites
The new Superlift MX 324 can also be seen at the trade fair. The compact, light-weight and easily assembled lift is particularly suitable for confined building sites where conveying heights of up to 100 metres have to be reached. Passengers and material – up to 300 kilograms – can be safely transported. The conveying speed of the predecessor model was optimized once again to 24 metres per minute. The aluminium rack and pinion mast element is easily mounted thanks to its low weight. In this lift model, the supporting frame and the work platform are made of steel – all attachment parts are aluminium. This combines stability and ease of operation. As the platform can be completely dismantled from the lift and disassembled into its individual parts, the space requirement for transport and storage is clearly reduced. In addition, setting up in spaces with confined access such as lift shafts or back yards is possible. Whilst the MX 324 is characterized by its compact design, the Superlift LX 4024 excels above all by its efficiency on large-scale building sites or in permanent use. Based on the modular system, which enables the lift to be flexibly adapted to the respective construction project, one model will be presented as a twin mast unit at the bauma a well as three platforms. Load of up to 4,000 kilograms or 12 persons can be transported using the LX 4024 – at a speed of up to 24 metres per minute. The lift cage dimensions can be selected and extended thanks to their modular design. Platform sizes of 2.9 by 1.7 up to 2.9 by 5.1 metres are possible. The lift reaches conveying heights of up to 250 metres and is also characterized by its design, which enables easy and fast assembly. With its top-quality workmanship, it offers a high level of safety and reliability, even in continuous operation.
