The first day of the three day test at the Silverstone circuit was successful for the BMW Sauber F1 Team. Robert Kubica completed 82 laps with no technical problems and, while testing different set-up options, found some good and interesting directions for the team to explore. The programme also included work on the aerodynamics, and the team is hoping these will lead to a good performance for the British Grand Prix next week.

Day two will see Robert driving again. He will continue with the set-up and aerodynamic work.
Also on the busy agenda will be Bridgestone tyre testing for the Silverstone race.
