ROADSTAR compressors keep on trucking

BITZER publishes maintenance video for ROADSTAR compressors

(PresseBox) (Sindelfingen, )
Compressor specialist BITZER has made it even easier to maintain its ROADSTAR transport compressors: users can now access a two-part maintenance video on replacing the shaft seal. ROADSTAR compressors have been successfully used for mobile air conditioning applications since 2012.

BITZER is further expanding its digital support for customers and partners: the compressor specialist has published its first-ever instruction video for the transport segment. The video shows a BITZER employee replacing the shaft seal on a ROADSTAR compressor, with a voice-over explaining the necessary steps. The video is broken down into two parts – removal of the old seal in the first part, and use of the new seal in the second – and covers both models of the ROADSTAR compressor: with and without oil collection chamber.

Customers can obtain new shaft seal sets from their BITZER service partner. The tools required are shown in the video. It may be a good idea to consult the maintenance instructions.

On the road with ease
Refrigeration compressors form the heart of all refrigeration and air conditioning systems – even when in transit by bus or truck. Just like the proven ROADSTAR series, the highly reliable aluminium compressors were specially developed for mobile use and are suitable for air conditioning and refrigeration applications in all conventionally powered types of bus, as well as for refrigerated vehicles. ROADSTAR compressors boast exceptional operating reliability even under extreme conditions, impressive performance paired with high efficiency, and unrivalled serviceability.
