BITZER to exhibit at the RHVAC Trade Fair in Bangkok

Specialist in compressors in refrigeration and air conditioning systems presents new products and technological innovations

(PresseBox) (Sindelfingen/Bangkok, )
BITZER will be exhibiting innovative solutions and new products at the RHVAC Trade Fair in Bangkok, the trade exhibition for products and services in the fields of refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology. With over 3,000 employees in 90 countries, BITZER is a refrigerant compressors specialist offering a wide range of screw, scroll and reciprocating compressors as well as pressure vessels for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. These are suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.

Thanks to its 40 global locations BITZER is accessible to a worldwide customer base. This year the company will once again be exhibiting at the RHVAC in Bangkok from 10 to 12 October 2013, taking the opportunity to engage in discussions with trade visitors. In addition to this the trade fair offers end users the chance to gain a comprehensive insight into developments in the world of refrigeration and air conditioning technology. Highlights of BITZER’s presence at RHVAC 2013 are the latest refinements to compressors of the ROADSTAR, NEW ECOLINE and OCTAGON compressors for transcritical CO2 applications, as well as ORBIT 6 and 8 and NEW ECOLINE VARISPEED.

ROADSTAR passes toughness test
As the name indicates, ROADSTAR models are designed for mobile air conditioning applications. At the beginning of 2013 worldwide series production of the revised product line was launched after the reciprocating compressors passed their toughness test, during which they were subjected to over 96 million kilometres, taking in every climate zone. The ROADSTAR’s great strength is its flexibility. It is available as a four- or six-cylinder compressors, as well as with eight different displacements, so that it offers the ideal component for every application.

Increased efficiency
The NEW ECOLINE Series offers both increased efficiency and wider application limits, as well as fitting precisely into existing systems as a replacement part. The compressors are now even more versatile in their use. In addition to R134a they can now be used with other refrigerants such as R404A, R407A, R407C, R407F and R507A. We have succeeded in raising the new R404A’s application limit to the condensing temperature of previous R22 systems. This permits the replacement of HCFC refrigerants even in the hottest regions.

Series for transcritical CO2 applications
On the basis of the OCTAGON compressor series BITZER has developed its own range designed to meet the specific requirements of transcritical CO2 applications. The wide application range permits their use in a great variety of system variants. The new models have displacements of up to 25.6 cubic metres per hour and offer high levels of energy efficiency due to such factors as their good gas flow control, super-efficient working valves and special drive gear geometry.

Wide application range, low sound levels[/b
]With cooling capacities ranging from 27 to 51 kW at 50 Hz and climatic conditions , the new ORBIT 6 Series scroll compressors’ high degree of isentropic efficiency means they offer a wide application range and impressively low sound levels. Displacements of between 20 and 38 cubic metres per hour make them particularly suitable for air conditioning systems and heat pumps. The ORBIT 8 Series for R410A offers outstanding efficiency, smooth running and reliability. Thanks to their design characteristics these compressors achieve the lowest sound levels in their class.

Infinite capacity control
NEW ECOLINE VARISPEED semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors are fitted with an inbuilt suction gas-cooled frequency inverter which permits infinite capacity control. This cuts energy costs thanks to the reduced suction pressure fluctuations and cycling rates. The suction gas cooling of the frequency inverter’s operating components ensures that the electrical components are kept at optimum temperature and renders superfluous both fans and regular maintenance.
However, at BITZER quality does not stop with the products. It also embraces the service we provide. BITZER’s Green Point programme features a comprehensive worldwide network of service and training centres where both the employees of our Master Green Point subsidiaries and our customers receive training in the use of BITZER products and systems. Thus premium quality and services perfectly tailored to our customers’ needs go hand in hand. The Green Point project embodies our all-embracing quality commitment.
