biolitec AG Successfully Closes a Capital Increase against Cash Contribution

Today the company biolitec AG (Frankfurt, Prime Standard: BIB) successfully closed the capital increase decided upon on November 29, 2007. In an economic environment with a capital market marked by uncertainty, biolitec was able to acquire premium investors. The capital increase was carried out through an accelerated bookbuilding process. The Sole Lead Manager ICF Kursmakler AG has subscribed to 500,750 new biolitec shares and offered them to institutional investors in Germany and Europe. By issue of the new shares at an issue price of EUR 14.10 per share biolitec`s liquid funds increased by a gross amount of approx. EUR 7,060,000 uktramq.
