BINDER vacuum drying oven - Safe drying – gently and quickly in the BINDER VD and VDL

The vacuum drying ovens from BINDER are available in two versions, the BINDER VD and VDL. Both can dry samples completely without residues, scaling or oxidation. As a special feature, everything is even in the "overdrive".

Depending on your individual safety requirements, the VDL oven also offers a unique safety concept and is ATEX II 3G compliant. The BINDER VD and VDL series provide maximum sample protection through an innovative control concept. This ensures control of the entire temperature range without overshooting and includes a temperature selection limiter, multi-program controller and communication interface. The results are perfect every time due to the APT.line™, which shrouds the inner chamber with warm air. This ensures an even, rapid heating of the entire inner chamber without creating condensation points. In addition, the integrated thermal conducting plates ensure direct and optimal heat transfer. The patented expansion racks are flexibly positioned and conduct the heat due to large contact areas without temperature loss directly to the sample material.

A precision-adjustable inert gas valve ventilates the oven. Cross-Flow technology ensures that the standard valve uniformly ventilates the interior volume from top to bottom. As a result, the vacuum drying ovens offer an accelerated, individually controlled drying process. The gentle air flow prevents turbulence ensuring that even delicate samples are gently and quickly dried. A smooth inner chamber made of highly corrosion-resistant materials (1.4571), rounded corners and fully removable fittings simplify cleaning.

The BINDER safety concept impresses with innovative solutions: the explosion-proof interior according to ATEX guidelines for Zone II 3G is equipped with an inert gas connection to the interior flushing. The spring-mounted safety glass panel with shatter protection (FDA tested) and the flame protection gasket provide maximum protection. All electronic components are separated from the inner chamber. The overpressure encapsulated instrument panel prevents gas penetration and automatic heating is first activated under 125 mbar pressure. With the safety concept, BINDER offers maximum protection for user and laboratory.
