Ioannis Kiriazidis has committed himself to taking over a diverse and responsible task: The portfolio in the areas of infotainment systems - a core area in Wolfsburg - diagnosis, HiL testing systems and driver assistance systems is to be expanded. In addition, more emphasis is put on project management, ECU networking and ECU development with a particular focus on the domains e-mobility or hybrid drives, whose share in projects is growing continuously. It is a stated objective of Berner & Mattner to continue the innovative strategic partnership with VW. "We are aiming at rapid growth with the expansion of today's core areas and the portfolio of services. We will provide our customers with even greater support in bringing innovative quality products to market. We want to achieve this by expanding customer-oriented projects, amongst others," says Kiriazidis.
Experience with electrical systems and infotainment HMI
The 43-year-old Kiriazidis has considerable industry experience. Most recently, he expanded the department electrics/electronics at Semcon Wolfsburg, with a focus on vehicle power system development, testing, integration and prototype development. Prior to this he had worked at Adam Opel as developer and project manager for seven years. He was involved in the creation and evaluation of human machine interfaces (HMI) for infotainment and navigation systems and was also responsible for the improvement of networking protocols, amongst others.
