A unique feature is the passive motor brake. This can be used to prevent hanging loads from dropping in an uncontrolled manner if power is lost on ACOPOSmulti drive systems. In this case, the motor brake is engaged if the mechanical clamping system fails - the hanging load is then lowered in a controlled manner.
The mains connection is made using an external upstream line filter that meets corresponding EMC guidelines. The brake energy that is generated is transferred to the ambient air via an external braking resistor connected to the module.
New standards for cooling technology
The proven ACOPOSmulti mounting methods (wall, feed-through and cold plate mounting), which contribute substantially to reducing the temperature in the switching cabinet, are also available to users in this product series.
With the integrated POWERLINK network, users also have extensive diagnostics options. Data such as the supply voltage, current and power on the DC bus and the temperatures of the power elements is recorded cyclically. Using this historical data, seamless diagnosis of the entire machine is possible - from the power mains to the drive motor.
Power meter for optimal use of energy
With the integrated power meter function, the user also receives information about the average and maximum effective and apparent power consumption of the production machine. With this information, nothing stands in the way of optimizing production for minimum energy consumption and reduced life cycle costs.
