Results of Ugandan-German Co-operation presented in Kampala

In conjunction with the Ugandan Department of Geological Survey and Mines (DGSM), Beak is presenting the project „Establishment of a Modern Documentation Centre“ on the „Mineral Wealth Conference“ (http://www.mineralwealthconference.ucmp.ug/...), 1st and 2nd October, 2012 in Kampala (Uganda). The presentation will be given by Dr. Frank Schmidt (Beak) und Grace L. Nassuna (DGSM).
From 2008 – 2012, Beak has developed and implemented database systems at the DGSM, especially for the Documentation Centre in Entebbe. A part of the project was the creation of the web portal for the marketing of the Ugandan Mining Sector: www.uganda-mining.go.ug.
Starting there, you can access the online component Web-UDIS of the Unpublished Documents Information System (UDIS), which is currently introduced by Beak.
