Baumüller provides a comprehensive offer for automation and drive technology for the plastics industry. Starting with project planning and designing to commissioning, maintenance and retrofitting, Baumüller Automation Equipment Trading Co., Ltd. offers Chinese mechanical engineers and machine operators support from its head office in Shanghai throughout the entire life cycles of machines and systems.
Since 2012, Baumüller has been represented with its own production facility in Wujiang, about 100 km west of Shanghai. Baumüller Automation (Suzhou), Co. Ltd. largely produces for the local market in an area of about 3,000 square meters.

The comprehensive range of dynamic motors and converters in different cooling versions from Baumüller offers the right drive solution for an optimal and energy-efficient process design according to the respective load profile of the application.
A servo motor DSD2 is shown in the motor area. The different installation sizes of the DSD2 series offer a suitable solution for almost every automation application. The DSD2 is ideal for highly dynamic applications requiring excellent acceleration ability and start-stop qualities, such as in packaging, textile and plastics machinery, material handling equipment, special machinery and small robots.
The electric ejector drive DSC 135 is a particular highlight. It has a special mount for the compensation of axial forces and stands out with its excellent dynamic properties. This makes it possible to generate new economic solutions in this sector.

In addition, in 2012 a production facility was built in Wujiang, about 100 km west of Shanghai, with an area of about 3,000 square meters with Baumüller Automation (Suzhou), Co. Ltd. In addition to the production of servo motors and switch cabinets, the Chinese production location is also responsible for service, repairs and commissioning and can rely on a local spare parts warehouse.
