Customer orientation is a key factor for success

Valter Milani, head of Marketing and Sales for the acrylic monomers and superabsorbents business, calls the victory in the category best raw materials for resins and emulsions "absolutely super," and with good reason. BASF alone received more votes than all three second-place winners put together. Milani sees the team as a major factor in the success. "To stay at the top, it's important to work with a motivated team, to have good marketing strategies and to convince customers with perfect service," Milani said.
In the overall category "Empresa Master" (best company), BASF was also among the top three, with a second place based on the company's good services in all 34 of the individual categories.
