With its automotive refinish product brand Glasurit, BASF Coatings will be represented at three major international trade shows in March and April. Glasurit will be featured at the booths of its partners and premium tuning-companies Mansory and Lorinser at the Geneva International Motor Show (March 6 to 16, press days from March 4 to 6). After joint appearances with Mansory at the 2007 Geneva International Motor Show, the 2007 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, and the 2007 Middle East International Motor Show in Dubai, it will be the fourth joint trade show appearance for the two partners.
At the Techno Classica, the world’s largest car show for classic and prestige cars, car racing, motorcycles, spare parts, and restoration taking place in Essen/Germany from March 27 to 30 (press day: March 26), Glasurit will be represented at its own booth (Hall 5.0, booth 205). Glasurit’s Classic Car Colors will be on display there.
And the Hanover Trade Fair (April 21 to 25) will also feature vehicles finished with Glasurit-paints. One highlight of the Hanover Trade Fair will be “SolarWorld No. 1”, developed by the Bochum University of Applied Sciences. The orange sports car, which was refinished with Glasurit paints, received the Design Award at the World Solar Challenge in Australia, making it the world’s best-looking solar car.
