The world’s largest car show is just around the corner, and Glasurit®, a brand of BASF Coatings, is raring to go. The 62nd International Motor Show (IAA) will be taking place in Frankfurt, Germany, a world trade fair venue, from September 13 to 23, 2007.

Glasurit® will be making an appearance at the stand of German car-tuning company Mansory as the company’s partner. Mansory, whose headquarters are in Brand, a town near Bayreuth, Germany, is specialized in tuning British luxury cars.

What better credentials for a partnership than vehicles refinished with Glasurit and tuned by Mansory? At the IAA, an elegant CONQUISTADOR converted from a Rolls Royce Phantom, a sporty LE MANSory WideBody converted from a Bentley GT convertible, and a slipstreamed Aston Martin Vanquish S will be featured. All of the luxury bodies are finished in glossy white. The Rolls Royce received a “bicolor” finish in black and white.

The motto of this year’s IAA is “See what’s driving tomorrow”. IAA sponsor, the German Association of the Auto Industry (VDA) is expecting 1 million visitors and 10,000 journalists.

The Mansory stand is number D 21 and is located in the tuning hall 1.2.
