Zorp ist mehr als eine Firewall: Die Software kontrolliert Datenverkehr auf Inhaltsebene und zeichnet sich durch eine modulare Architektur, hohe Flexibilität, Leistungsstärke und Hochverfügbarkeit aus. Die Software kann derzeit bereits 21 Protokolle analysieren. In Ungarn hält BalaBit laut IDC einen Marktanteil von 27,6 Prozent und belegt damit die führende Position im Marktsegment für Firewall-Software. BalaBit wurde 1996 in Budapest (Ungarn) gegründet, die Deutschlandvertretung ist in München. Das Unternehmen vertreibt seine Produkte indirekt über Partner.
