Georg Stanzel ist neuer Vertriebsleiter IBM Software bei Avnet Partner Solutions

Georg Stanzel (40) ist seit dem 1. September 2006 neuer Vertriebsleiter IBM Software bei Avnet Partner Solutions und berichtet direkt an Rüdiger Gunther, Country Manager Avnet Partner Solutions Deutschland.

Stanzel ist diplomierter Betriebswirt und seit über 18 Jahren in der IT-Branche zuhause. Bedingt durch seine langjährige Tätigkeit bei der IBM Software Group verfügt er über ein hervorragendes Fachwissen und bringt für den Ausbau des IBM Software Vertriebs bei Avnet Partner Solutions auch die nötige Erfahrung im Endkunden-Business und Lösungsvertrieb mit.

Vor seinem Wechsel zu Avnet Partner Solutions war er bei der Sun Microsystems GmbH tätig und leitete dort mit großem Erfolg den Aufbau des für Sun neuen x64 Business, nicht zuletzt durch eine stark lösungsorientierte Vertriebsstrategie. Die enge Zusammenarbeit mit Resellern, Independet Software Vendors (ISVs) und der Distribution hat hierbei eine zentrale Rolle gespielt. Davor war er mehr als sieben Jahre bei der IBM Software Group beschäftigt und betreute zunächst als Channel Account Manager Reseller und Distributoren in Süddeutschland, später dann als Software Account Manager verschiedene IBM-Großkunden.
