AURES at EuroShop 2014

16-20 February 2014 - EuroCIS (hall 6, stand F46) - Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre

(PresseBox) (Fürstenfeldbruck - Lisses, )
The AURES Groupis pleased to announce that it will once again be attending EuroShop - EuroCIS 2014, Europe's largest trade show for store equipment, as well as retail and point-of-sale technology.

The event will be held in Düsseldorf (Germany) from 16 to 20 February 2014. For the first time, there will be 16 exhibition halls instead of the usual 15; over 2,000 exhibitors and almost 108,000 visitors will be present.

"We are expecting most of our European customers and prospective clients at this trade show," explains Gérard PUTATTI, theAURES Group's Director of Corporate Sales.

"For us", explains Hilmar BUCHWALD, Manager of AURES GmbH, "this international event is an absolute must. Some 60% of the visitors and decision-makers are drawn from all over Europe rather than just Germany."

The AURES Group (hall 6, stand F46 in the EuroCIS area) will be unveiling its new EPOS management hardware solutions for points-of-sale and service.

sango 2ndgeneration: with an i5 processor giving more power and greater security.

AURES will present a preview of this latest version of the sango terminal at EuroCIS 2014: it offers a choice of 4 processors, including a fanless i5 Intel Ivy Bridge.

Although fanless, the i5 is on average five times more powerful than the previous generation of processors. It enables unprecedented speed to be achieved, with automatic acceleration when necessary (turbo-boosting). This allows for many multitasking applications, without any contraindication or slowdown of the machine during intensive use. This facilitates processing till payments while simultaneously broadcasting images (or videos and multimedia content) on the 2nd screen (at the back of the hardware). It also becomes easier to browse the Internet, display and download data (images, videos and music), and carry out remote data management and control (e.g. managing stock, items sold and sales), etc.

Furthermore, many EPOS software packages associated to sango 2nd generation (with an i5 processor) will be 'boosted' by this increased power (faster applications, transactions and data processing, in both front and back office operations).

The fanless i5 processor also guarantees lower electricity consumption, thus reducing the carbon footprint of the check-out area.

AURES' dual-screen solutions take pride of place: sango Evolutionand ninô Evolution

For the first time, sangoand ninô, the flagship equipment in AURES' new EPOS range, will be presented with their integrated dual-screen system: the second screen on these EPOS (turned towards customers) is for digital signage. This enables images, text, videos and multimedia content to be programmed and broadcast, for optimised customer relationship management at check-outs (broadcasting special offers and advertising campaigns, waiting queue entertainment, and customer loyalty campaigns, etc., adding a more personal touch to the check-out process).

This second adjustable 10.1-inch screen has LED backlighting, 1024 x 600 px fixed resolution, and 250 cd/m2 brightness.

A full range of associated, custom-made peripherals which can be fully integrated and adapted.

The ODP 333 receipt printer: more ergonomic format, with a cubic design and front receipt print-out.

AURES' ODP 333 is a special point-of-sale thermal receipt printer, with a triple interface (including Ethernet) and a front, splash-proof receipt print-out. It has a distinctive, ultra-compact cubic design and mixed gloss and matt finish in either 'black piano', or 'pure white'. Its front receipt print-out provides good protection against dust, crumbs and splashes in tough settings (kitchens, restaurants, cafés, baker's shops, etc.).

The ODP 333's low energy consumption motherboard (Energy Star certified) switches it to standby mode as soon as it is no longer in use. This guarantees reduced electricity consumption - an average of 30% less - in line with new environmental standards and green technology.

It is the essential addition to AURES' EPOS terminals; together they make a perfect match in check-out areas.

The 3S 333 cash-drawer:  ultra-compact, with an exclusive AURES design.

This ultra-compact cash-drawer (335 mm x 110 mm x 350 mm) devised byAURES is meticulously designed and finished, reflecting the brand's other equipment and peripherals.

With its elegant 'black piano' front cover (a glossy black exclusive to AURES), ergonomic format and small size compared to traditional cash-drawers, the 3S 333 is ideal for all check-out areas and even the most confined spaces. It thus perfectly fits under the touchscreen of the sango terminal.

The 3S 333 is practical, aesthetic and highly resistant, making it a good choice in all retail sectors. It is the perfect addition to all point-of-sale terminals and 15-inch touchscreens.
