Under the contract, Attenda is providing a fully managed web applications hosting service for Fleurop's transactional website, which makes a significant contribution to its international sales of flowers, floral arrangements and gifts. Customer orders are fulfilled by arranging to send the flowers from the nearest flower shop to the recipient.
Fleurop AG has been an Attenda client since 2002 and this contract renewal reinforces Fleurop's confidence in Attenda's managed services, to provide the availability, security and performance that it needs for its corporate website.
The solution is based upon Attenda's Cloud computing platform, Attenda RTI, providing a highly available, scalable blend of Cloud computing and managed services, with the capability to flex capacity rapidly in response to the seasonal peaks in website traffic. The new contract is providing Fleurop with high availability service levels, supported by an agile, highly performing, resilient and cost-effective Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution that can scale up or down in line with demand.
