Mit dem digitalen Wandel in der heutigen Zeit lag in diesem Jahr der Fokus auf Strategien, um agiler zu werden und besser auf die schnellen Veränderungen in der heutigen Welt der Fertigung eingehen zu können. Hierzu berichteten die Big Player der Industrie in über 40 englischsprachigen Vorträgen von ihren Erfahrungen und implementierten Prozessen.
Mit dabei war Michele Sciuto, Chief Commercial Officer von ATS Global, dessen Vortrag über „The Good, Bad, and Ugly of Industry 4.0“ eine gute Resonanz erhielt.
Gemeinsam mit ihm standen Michael Jenke, Geschäftsführer von ATS Deutschland und Harry Hamann, Key Account Manager, am Stand von ATS mit Fach- und Praxiswissen zur Verfügung. Viel besprochene Themen waren Digitalisierung, Smart Manufacturing & Industrie 4.0, Modernisierung, Prozessautomatisierung und der Medienbruch vom Papier ins Digitale.
Alles in allem war das EMS Summit gut besucht und geografisch wie auch branchenmäßig sehr vielfältig. Die Teilnehmerländer reichten von Südafrika über Saudi-Arabien bis hin zu Norwegen. Am meisten besucht wurde das Summit von der Pharma-, Automobil-, Lebensmittel- und chemischen Industrie.
Das 15. European Manufacturing Strategies Summit ist auch schon geplant. Vom 4.-6. November 2019 wird es wieder in Berlin stattfinden und auch ATS wird voraussichtlich wieder dabei sein. Wir können also auf neue Erkenntnisse im gesamten Netzwerk gespannt sein.
