"Es geht nicht darum die Welt zu retten. Doch einen Moment der Besinnung und des Handelns im Kleinen gibt die Möglichkeit andere Menschen zu motivieren Gleiches zu tun." Das, so sagte Peter Storm, Leiter der Abteilung Vertrieb beim EMS-Dienstleister ATP Elektronik in Halstenbek, sei der eigentliche Gedanke der alljährlich zum Jahresende stattfindenden Bieter- Aktion: Alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter gaben die erhaltenen Kundenpräsente der Versteigerung bei, bei der im Rahmen der Weihnachtsfeier der jeweils Meistbietende den Zuschlag erhielt. Am Ende des Abends wechselten so alle Geschenke ihre Besitzer und brachten insgesamt € 750 in die Auktions-Kollekte. Schon traditionell handelnd ging die ATPGeschäftsleitung daran und erhöhte die Summe auf € 2.000. Die Spende ging erneut nach Abstimmung mit der Belegschaft an die Organisation "Ärzte ohne Grenzen" und an das Hamburger Kinderhospiz "Sternenbrücke".
