ATMedia releases world’s fastest encryption system for Ethernet and SONET networks.
The ATMedia 10G encryptor is the world’s first encryption device that is able to encrypt 10 Gigabit Ethernet and SONET/SDH links.
The ATMedia 10G link encryptor will be used for the link encryption of 10GBASE Ethernet backbone connections between company sites or authorities. The encryption works without additional overhead at full link speed of 10 gbps and is transparent to all higher protocols. AES with 256 bit key length is used for data encryption. The integration into networks is most simple by installing the devices between the router or switch and the WAN and does not require any change of network infrastructure. The packet delay is in the range of a few microseconds only.
The ATMedia 10G Link encryptor is also available for OC-192/STM-64 SONET/SDH networks and covers the full range of 10 Gigabit WAN connections.
