ASUS announced today the world's first halogen-free monitor, the VW247-HF just received another accolade for being one of the greenest consumer electronics product on the market according to the Greenpeace Electronics Survey for 2010.
The annual Greenpeace Electronic Survey assesses electronic products across four categories: chemical use, energy use, product lifespan and other notable features. The VW247-HF LCD monitor scored highly in each category with a total score of 7.5 (out of 10), putting it ahead of all survey participants. The ASUS UL30 notebook also made the list as one of the greenest consumer notebooks available.
