METOLIGHT UVL-LED-Röhren werden in Räumen und Arbeitsbereichen verwendet, in denen UV-polymerisierende Produkte verarbeitet werden (Leiterplatten- / Halbleiter-Industrie, Druckereien, Farben/Lacke-Hersteller) usw. Die zu verarbeitenden Produkte haben ihre Hauptempfindlichkeit im Bereich zwischen 360 und 380 nm, jedoch reagieren die meisten Farben, Lacke, Harze usw. auch teilweise im Bereich deutlich über 400 nm, also im sichtbaren Lichtspektrum. Daher ist es meist nötig, solche speziellen UV-Filter zu verwenden, um die Verarbeitungszeit der Produkte lange aufrecht zu erhalten.
Die neuen METOLIGHT UVL-LED-Röhren dienen als energiesparender Ersatz für Gelbraum-Leuchtstoffröhren. Sie sind lieferbar in den üblichen Abmessungen für T8 - Leuchtstoffröhren zum Anschluss an die normale Netzspannung, KVG und VVG.
Diese Gelbraum- LED-Röhren emmitieren kein Licht unter 470 / 520 oder 500 nm je nach Version des UV-Filters. Wobei die LED-UVL-500 Röhren einen dickeren UV-Filter haben und somit langlebiger als die UVL-470 und UVL-520 LED Röhren sind.
