ASK Chemicals - global competence in the foundry industry redefined

ASK Chemicals takes a bow at GIFA 2011

(PresseBox) (Hilden, )
ASK Chemicals is now positioned as a new, strong and globally active player. The new company is the result of the recently established joint venture bringing together the global foundry chemicals business of Ashland Inc., USA, the foundry activities of Süd Chemie AG, Munich, and the joint venture – already extant between the two companies since 1970 – Ashland-Südchemie-Kernfest GmbH, Hilden, as well as their subsidiaries.

With 30 subsidiaries in 24 countries, the company’s 16 production sites offer foundries across the world high-quality, innovative products and services based on the traditions and years of experience of the partners. The combined knowledge of different specialists and professions, being successfully on the market for a long time, holds enormous growth potential for the company itself. Not only that, it also provides a solid basis for expanding the product range to the benefit of customers.

With its global presence, collaborative use of sales channels and market synergies, the new ASK Chemicals generates both technological as well as competitive advantages for its customers. This makes market entry or expansion easier for customers – particularly in the growth markets of Latin America, Northeast Asia and Eastern Europe. The new ASK Chemicals positions itself as a leading provider of environmentally compatible products and technologies which ensure environmental and resource conservation - thus it’s a sustainable business.

This development is driven by the work of the company’s research and development centers, now present on three continents, with more than 90 chemists, engineers and technicians buildings upon the successes of the past, developing new products and technologies in state-of-the-art laboratories. In close cooperation with leading universities and foundries, they conduct throughout the world fundamental research, perform special analyses and develop industry standards.

ASK Chemicals will be represented with its skilled contacts from the worldwide locations at GIFA Hall 12, Booth 24A. Experts will be on hand with presentations to discuss problems which are currently affecting the foundry industry.

You can arrange appointments and find further information about the trade show on www.ask-chemicals.com.
