Managers and policy-makers in the German energy industry will meet at the Ellington Hotel in Berlin for the 2017 event, whose slogan is ‘Transformation - Update for Your Energy Business.’ Established in 2015, the conference on digital transformation is being held for the third time and will be supported by digital partner Arvato Systems once again: The IT specialist will provide power for the cell phones of attendees at a central cell phone charging station.
Arvato Systems will demonstrate the potential of platform-based services, which represent a completely new business strategy for the energy market: On the second day of the conference, Hartmut Entrup, Head of the Smart-X division, will give a talk entitled ‘Serving Energy Consumer 2.0 in Real-Time’ to illustrate how energy providers can expand their range of strictly energy-supply services with new data-based business models that will secure their revenue streams. The presentation will show current business cases and application scenarios from the energy industry. The talk will begin at 10:55 am on 10 May.
The two-day conference is aimed at managers of power companies, grid operators and telecommunications and IT companies. It will take place from 9 to 10 May at the Ellington Hotel in Berlin.
