arvato Systems Broadcast and Media Solutions Focus on Products and Enterprise Business

New Roles for Nicolas Ley and Klaus Pramschüfer

(PresseBox) (Gütersloh, )
  • Digital Media Management restructuring emphasizes products and enterprise business growth
  • Industry expert Nicolas Ley returns and is appointed Head of Business Solutions
  • Head of Products, Klaus Pramschüfer, to manage product development, product management and quality assurance.
(arvato Systems) Gütersloh/Cologne – Future-oriented IT specialist arvato Systems to concentrate on the creation and development of their software products for broadcast and media, without however compromising enterprise business growth. As part of the Digital Media Management reorganization, a well-known name has reappeared: Nicolas Ley has been back on board since March 1st 2016. Klaus Pramschüfer, from arvato Systems, also a recognized expert in the sector, has taken over leadership of Products. In their new roles, both will report directly to Holger Noske, Vice President Broadcast Solutions.

Customer and market requirements change constantly, and the TV and media industry is no exception to this rule. Always looking to the future, arvato Systems shifted their core focus towards the development and production of its software solutions, while still securing enterprise business growth. In organizational terms, this strategic direction is to be supported by a clearer and more consistent separation of Product Development and Business Solutions. As part of this strategic initiative, arvato Systems can also now rely on the skills and experience of two experts in the sector.

Firstly, Nicolas Ley has been back on board since March 1, 2016 and now heads up the Business Solutions division. Qualified in media technology, he brings many years of experience from his roles inside iPharro Media and Fraunhofer IGD, and has also spent a large portion of his career with arvato Systems, where he was Project and Product Manager from 2008 to 2014, and more recently responsible for the Professional Services – Digital Media Management division. He returns after eighteen months at Avid as Senior Delivery Manager Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey and Nordic.

Klaus Pramschüfer moves from his role as Head of Solutions Development, to become Head of Products in the Digital Media Management division. He and his team can now focus entirely on the development, management and quality assurance of arvato Systems products. Pramschüfer has extensive personal and media industry expertise gained in software development, technical project management and solution architect roles with companies such as CONET and RTL as well as - since 2000 - arvato Systems.

“Our strategy is clearly designed for growth. Creating a clear line between ‘Products’ for product creation and ‘Business Solutions’ for delivery and support is one of the key elements of this. We are delighted to have strengthened our team with two industry experts, in whom not only the market but also our own company have placed their confidence for many years,” comments Holger Noske.
